Scotch Bonnet pepper review by Ragnar Snedeker

Today’s review is going to be of the Scotch Bonnet pepper. It has a decent amount of heat to it and an awesome flavor. Great for soups, pizza, enchiladas, burritos, tamales, spaghetti and any meats. The heat is immediate and yet not too bad in my personal opinion. A somewhat citrus-type flavor is there and yet it is very pleasant and easy to handle otherwise, so it can be handled by people who want spicy peppers and yet not over the top extreme heat. This I would consider as a chili head type pepper.

Roasty Buds Ghost Pepper Coffee review by Ragnar Snedeker

Today’s review is going to be of Roasty Buds Ghost Pepper coffee. I like the flavor and spice of this coffee and would highly recommend it to any person who wants to get their morning started with a spicy kick by tasting this stuff. Definitely good coffee in a French press, however, it could be had in a coffee pot if there were other people who love spicy coffees. 10 to 15 minutes of a good brewing time will bring out the flavor. It is a good way to start a day if you want something other than regular average coffee. Spicy aftertaste remains for a few minutes but not too long.

Roasty Buds Hatch Chile Pepper Coffee review by Ragnar Snedeker

Today’s review is going to be of the Roasty Buds Hatch Chile coffee. I found this coffee due to my wanting to expand into the area of spicy coffees and have made regular use out of this particular variety. This would be good as a coffee for a coffee pot or even better in my opinion in the French Press. A very noticeable level of spice, however, a great flavor goes along with it. Probably a once a week coffee for people who like spicy stuff but don’t want to overdo it. Just a little creamer and that takes off some of the bitterness associated with black coffee, however, it does not really require anything else. 10 to 15 minutes of a good brewing time will bring out the flavor. It is a good way to start a day if you want something other than regular average coffee. Spicy aftertaste remains for a few minutes but not too long.

Chocolate Bhutlah pepper review by Ragnar Snedeker

Today’s review is going to be of the Chocolate Bhutlah pepper. It has a somewhat pungent aroma and Earthy flavor to it. The flavor is quite pleasant otherwise. Very good used directly with food or as pepper flakes, pepper powder or a sauce. Pizza, a hot pasta, steak, ribs, enchiladas, burritos, tamales, would be excellent uses for a pepper like this. Unless one has had a significant amount of food before consuming a fresh pod, a fresh pod on an empty stomach would probably not work well. My tolerance for spicy stuff is really high, however, I can imagine that consuming a hot pepper pod on an empty stomach would hurt.

Carolina Reaper pepper review by Ragnar Snedeker

Today’s review is going to be of the Carolina Reaper. I got a pepper plant from somebody I know personally and the peppers have been quite prolific in terms of growth. Pizza, omelets chili, hot pasta, soups, steak, ribs and chicken would be very good uses for it. Perhaps it could be used in a pepper eating contest, however, it would be advisable to eat a pod with a good amount of food beforehand. Definitely a pepper for a chili head to consume. This is perfect if used in a hot sauce or pepper flakes and powder. My pepper plant has been very fruitful and I am looking forward to making more use out of it. Something I have heard is that milk would only give people relief as long as the milk was in one’s mouth after eating a hot pepper but the heat would just go back up after the milk is swallowed. Personally, I rarely use dairy products to deal with the spice nowadays. I go for the water and just let the heat keep escalating. After the heat has peaked, I let it deal with itself, regardless of how long it takes.

Bee Sting Pineapple Guava Pepper sauce review by Ragnar Snedeker

Today’s review is going to be of Bee Sting Pineapple Guava Pepper sauce. This would be good on burritos, pizza, lasagna, cheese tortellini, spaghetti, steak, seafood, Very sweet, mildly spicy, well worth the purchase if one wants a mild but very flavorful sauce. This could be used in conjunction with a marinade and produce delectable results. Pineapple is a great ingredient in a sauce or anything else that pineapple is recommended for.

Ring Of Fire All Purpose Roasted Garlic Hot Sauce

Today’s review is going to be of Ring Of Fire All Purpose Roasted Garlic Hot Sauce. I found this hot sauce on the Hot Sauce World website and just got started with it. This would be a good sauce on grits, eggs, sausage, omelets, pizza, a hot pasta, ribs, chicken, turkey, even steak. The spice is between mild and medium, however, the flavor is outstanding in general. Would definitely recommend this sauce for people who want a hot sauce with good flavor and good heat. Even though the heat is not too intense, it is detectable and enjoyable enough to want to be generous with it. Garlic lovers would definitely enjoy this sauce. The red peppers add a sweetness to this sauce and also a great deal of flavor. This could be used in conjunction with a regular marinade for steaks and be really tasty.

Ring Of Fire Garden Fresh Chile Sauce

Today’s review is going to be of Ring Of Fire Garden Fresh Chile Sauce. A combination of red ripe tomatoes, lots of onions, roasted garlic, Serrano chilies, and our special blend of herbs and spices create this truly unique and flavorful experience. It would be good on spaghetti, pizza, meats of any variety. The relatively mild nature of the Serrano chili peppers should give this sauce much appeal to people who want a sauce with some heat but also a great flavor.
